Owens commits to Creighton

After over 20 scholarship offers, Fenwick's Jade Owens has signed with Creighton to play basketball next year. She was attracted by the academic standards of Creighton (where she plans to study medicine) and also by the challenge that she face with the basketball team now that they are in the Big East Conference.
