What to Do First?
The first thing that I'll need you to do is to send me an initial email at thurman@thurmanhendrix.com answering ALL of the following questions in regards to the athlete(s) looking for training:
- What is their age?
- Where do they live?
- What sports and positions do they play?
- Will they be looking for ongoing training or just a few sessions for some basic advice?
- What days/times would be ideal for training sessions with me?
- What days/times absolutely will not work?
- What are their training goals? Specifically...
- Are they looking for ONLY speed training or would they want to work on other areas of performance enhancement as well?
- Are they looking to either gain or lose weight?
- What is their training history? Specifically...
- Have they worked out in the past? If so, please briefly explain...
- Will they be working out during the time they are enrolled with me?
- Are they currently injured or have they previously suffered an injury that I need to be aware of?
- Would they be looking for private or semi-private training of up to 4 athletes? The differences between private and semi-private sessions will be described in more detail below.
The answers to these questions will help me provide you with appropriate advice as to the direction we should take with you or your child. This includes whether or not training will be beneficial, how many days I recommend they work out with me (and then also on their own), where we should perform the training, etc. Before answering some of these questions, however, you will most likely want a little more direction as to exactly what I offer, the differences between private and semi-private sessions, and all costs associated.
